An INCI list cannot reveal every formulation secret, but it can tell you a great deal about the base, the featured actives, concentration clues, and whether a front-label claim deserves a closer look.

What an INCI List Can Tell You

The front of the package sells a promise. The ingredient list shows the structure behind that promise.
